The world’s first online dating company, Match.com, hit the scene twenty years ago. Since then, it has accumulated tens of millions of users worldwide and spawned numerous competitors. Online dating is now a multi-billion dollar industry and it shows no signs of abating. In fact, if anything, it still has a lot of room for growth.

Check out the infographic below for a look at how many Americans have ever tried online dating and their attitudes toward it. As people continue to warm to the idea, it’s likely that we’ll only see more and more folks go online in search of love and romance.
