Find a Therapist | Psychology Today

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists

Psychology Today is one of the largest mental health resources online and has published a print magazine since 1967. They offer a therapist locator tool to help you find professionals in your local area in 20 countries. You can search by city, zip code, or name. This directory is not specific to sex therapy; however, once you do your initial search, you can further refine it by selecting areas of specialization (e.g., sex therapy, sexual abuse, LGBT) to narrow down the results.

Sexual Health Alliance

The Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) offers interdisciplinary training programs taught by experts for those seeking certification in sex therapy, counseling, education, coaching, and consulting. They offer their own certifications; however, their programs are designed to meet the requirements necessary for AASECT certification for those who desire that additional credential. They offer both in-person and virtual training opportunities, with events scheduled throughout the year. Dr. Lehmiller has taught several courses through SHA on sexual fantasy and desire, and he also leads some study abroad opportunities through SHA on sexuality and culture. Visit SHA’s website to learn more about current certification and training opportunities. If you sign up for a full certification program (not an individual training), use discount code JustinSHAreferral to save $125 off the program fee.
