Sex and Psychology was created to share the science of sex and relationships in a way that is informative, engaging, and accessible. Unlike most sexual advice websites, this is not a personal, opinion-based blog; rather, the articles on this site are rooted in science and cite or link to the original research sources. The goal is to convey responsible and accurate information about sex and relationships and to correct the numerous myths and misconceptions that actively harm our sexual health and well-being. Most of us never received the sex education that we deserved—we either didn’t learn enough, or we were taught incorrect information. Sex and Psychology is here to fill in the gaps, answer your questions, and equip you with the tools you need to lead a happier and healthier sex life and build stronger relationships.
