Remote-Controlled Underwear Allows You To Stay “In Touch” With Your Lover Anywhere

The fascinating world of “teledildonics” (i.e., sex toys that can be controlled remotely via a computer or smartphone) continues to grow in ways that many of us never thought possible. For example, last year brought us the invention of LovePalz, a sex toy that senses your body’s movements and wirelessly relays them to your partner’s corresponding toy. So much for phone sex! The latest addition to the teledildonics family is Fundawear, a set of remote-controlled undergarments produced by condom manufacturer Durex.

Fundawear lets you control your partner’s undies via an iPhone app that allows you to select the exact location you would like to stimulate, as well as control the intensity of the stimulation. A series of miniature vibrators is embedded throughout each pair of underwear, and it appears that they are placed in different locations in the men’s and women’s versions in order to optimize sexual stimulation (I should also mention that in addition to underpants, there is also a vibrating bra made for the ladies).

The primary application for Fundawear seems to be for long-distance couples, but it might also be a titillating option when one partner is too lazy to get up off the couch and come to bed. Of course, some might use it for an occasional bit of self-pleasure too.

The video below will provide you with more details, but it doesn’t address some of my burning questions, such as: “How exactly do you recharge your undies?” “How do you clean a set of motorized underwear?” and “Is there a turbocharged version?” Guess we’ll have to wait for the official product launch to find out.
